I assure you there is no save for ice storm. Never has, never should be. It's a spell for killing sneaks and it works pretty darn well. Lets not argue however on the forums over something that you could test for in the game for your answer. I mean it's just like the time somebody told me Premo gave them 30 dr that no weapon could break. I told them a +5 weapon could they said "No I know my stuff! blah blah blah" Then I hit him and he died and suddenly he wasn't so sure

Evade requires a higher level.Xianio wrote:Why is concentration used as the duration on Summon Shadow? SD"s don't get concentration as a class skill. Secondly, why is Summon Shadow's duration the short one? It's single use while the shadow evade has 3 uses per day. If anything Summon Shadow should have the long duration....and I think making it a bit longer wouldn't hurt
Shadow is a powerful spell as is so it got a low duration.
They should be updated.isiana wrote:Someone needs to change the journal then.
How about:
Shadow Evade:
4: conceal 5% 5/+1 +1ac
5: conceal 10% 5/+1 +2ac
6: conceal 10% 5/+2 +2ac
7: conceal 15% 5/+3 +2ac
8: conceal 20% 5/+4 +3ac
9: conceal 25% 5/+5 +3ac
10: conceal 30% 5/+6 +4ac
Summon Shadow:
No ab- and no fort-
No conceal
no immunity to elements
immune to cits (say the shadows are preventing them from hitting your good spots)
+1pt of Magic dmg (like monk glvoes) per SDlvl (both weps.) (IE 10 dmg at SD 10)
Shadow Daze:
Adds daze to wep like flame wep. dc based on lvl and concentration. at lvl 10 shadow daze adds daze to 2weps if you use 2 weps.
Also make SD lvls count twords rouge for the items.

well for summon shadow. the current really blows. 50% immune to elemental dmg prity much only helps vs dmg shilds and ice storm all other elemental dmg spells are avoided because most every SD has some rouge in them. as for the dmg acid is also easy to prevent and it only does 2d10 thats 20 max and the ammy gives 20 resist. as for the concealment you get that from many other things like shadow evade and some might even have improved invis so thats pritty dead end to. so all you gave the SD buy changeing the summon shadow, is a minus to fort save and ab. thats pritty weeksaus. i chose magic dmg for the SD because its the most non evil or good type of dmg and SD are suposta be the line between good and evil. i lowered the dmg because magic dmg cant be prevented. I dont think that unpreventable dmg for a SD is a bad idea because they have to give up, What im not sure, about lets say 4 or 5d6 sneak attack for it and just to get 2d10 easy resist acid dmg.... week.. as for the immune to crits for the duration of the summon shaddow i put in there because just giveing a little magic dmg would kinda suck. so if you take the fack they dont get extra dmg with sneak attack then they should get a period of time where sneak attack cant dmg them. As for shadow daze i sugest the dc be lowerd and made a wep buff because people where complaning about the dc and how good it is even tho i think it currently sucks. but if you made it a lower dc wep buff the low dc would be compensated for mulipule uses. and as for the +6/5 i sugested that because it would be kind of cool to have at least one class that could resist at least 5 pnts off of a +5 wep.
