Shadow Daze Specifics: 1/day the character may inflict an illusionary daze upon a target. This daze lasts for 5 rounds (30 seconds).
DC of the Shadow Daze is 10 + Dexterity modifier + Shadowdancer level.
So were looking at 32 DC possible max.
Will save negates it.
So from that perspective I don't see that much power at all in it.
A shadowdancer going dex is lacking in serious damage, so I hope he can kill the player in 30 seconds. Remember that shadowdancers don't get sneaks and a level 10 rogue only gets 5d6.
The 32 DC is about norm for most DC's on the game right now. I wouldn't mind lowering the norm for everything to 30 though.
Summon Shadow: Not sure why it was mentioned.
Shadow Evade:
Class Level --- Damage Reduction ------ Concealment --- AC Bonus
___________________________________________________________
--4 ---------------------- 5/ +1 -------------------- 5% ------------ + 1
--6 ---------------------- 5/ +2 ------------------- 10% ----------- + 2
--8 --------------------- 10/ +2 ------------------- 15% ----------- + 3
--10 ------------------- 10/ +3 ------------------- 20% ----------- + 4
As you notice the damage reduction is useless, since the people against you will have better weapons. The concealment is nice, AC bonus is decent, but its considered a dodge bonus.
The rest of the stuff they get, rogues get as well.
I'm thinking a Barb/SD would be nicer to tell ya the truth.
