The death ones I have the trapper get credit because the player who triggered it is definitely dying to it. Its instant death.
The damage ones, I can't have the trap script know if the player will die from the damage or not. It doesn't count in any DR's or immunities.

1 hp? Wouldn't that mean that they could just keep triggering damage traps and still manage to live?
Eg. walks over fire trap, damages 50 hp, left with 1 hp. Continues to walk over remaining fire traps, but no damage is done, since you cannot die from them.
See my point?

Correct. A smart trapper would just make one then get an easy kill.

Yes. But what if a trapper wasn't designed for fighting? How would one kill them, apart from using a death trap?

That would be the case if there was a class called trapper.
Otherwise, they need to have some fighting skills or get screwed.

trappers usually have some sort of combat skill. they can grab some +1 darts and do the 1 dmg.
or just make a script that kills them if they have 1 HP left. not sure if thats possible. if it is, then i dont know how they'd get credit.

So true. But I was just trying to suggest a very slim probability.
