Just do it.

This is where all Eternal War game suggestions should go.

Just do it.

Post by T3hRedMage »

I'm tired of hearing about dueling. Althought I agree and respect people that ask for 1 on 1's, but I don't do it if it's clear they just want to do it to get XP. If they want to test something or fight, I'll do it. However, if it leaves me just standing there without someone to fight myself, I'm going to ignore the request. Why? Cause I'd be leeching. :D

However, my idea is to make another area similar to the dragon chamber to let people duel.

The item can be activated and a list of all current players can be projected. ( Similar to the DM rods ) They can chose who they want to fight and it sends a tell to the player, which has to counter activate the player. ( Similar to resetting the artifact in base. ) This will send both players into a No PvP zone where they can buff and do what they need to. There is a good and evil portal which will start players on opposite ends of the map, and then they can go at it.

There should be no level range in duels.

I like the idea of no XP.

Wager points. Winner gets pot, loser loses the wager.

That's a really good idea. What would happen if the other person left though? Would he automatically lose the wager?

Can't say I would complain about this idea. Better than nothing...

ya, I guess.

You'd also piss the team off if you suck though.

Maybe wager experience or prides so that it only affects the people in the duel?

But nobody uses prides much. Maybe for gratificators, but I think that's it.

Blah.

Seekers are one of the best items in the game. I use those all the time.

Who uses gratificators? If that's what you are spending your prides on you are WASTING them. I use magnets, sacrificers, paralyzers, if I ever used a double weapon I'd use flame, ares pendant. All good stuff. If I'm feeling wasteful with a character with a lot of prides, I usually buy the thing that gives my team 50 points. ;)
