Obviously you didn't read the post about the main spell script getting updated from Hotu standards which is default code.A95 wrote:This makes mages have a huge edge against the one class that actually chalenged them.
RARY Why on earth change it? It was fine before, but now 1 pt mages are spamming lesser breaches untill SR is gone and than spamming empowered fireballs.
Really, why on earth change it?

Apparently breach was changed for EW and forget to check breach because I never knew it was custom anyways, but rather than just saying its not working the same anymore, you went ahead and assumed I changed it like all other stuff with you. I guess something could never be missed. I'm can't be perfect like some people.
Just saying that its not working like before would've been a much better way of saying it.

and since we are on the fact that no one is perfect theres no need to rub it in rafael bet you have done or said worse things then that
but in A95 defense he just wanted to read that comming from you no one else and its hard to do that somtimes when you have other people getting in the way of it so it comes out in all sorts of ways
and A95 thought wrong so what like you said no one is perfect
now im going to get moaned at by casas once agian about how im of topic >.< LMAO!

All targeted dispel spells should indeed attempt to dispell weapon properties from spells.
Keen Edge, Flaming Weapon, Greater Magic Weapon, Holy Sword, etc.
All of them. It seems rather strange that dispel spells are allowed to dispell any effect on casters, but not allow for dispelling buffs on weapons.
They should attempt to dispel any effect from spells, and this would create more tactical situations. A buffed up weapon shouldn't be conisdered unbeatable.
(Take a look at the D&D descriptions of for example Mordenkainen's Disjunction, it really doesn't like magic items... Not that I suggest such a change on this server, that would be problematic to say the least.)
