I'm interested in submitting a map I made, it's based off of a map from an old PvP server (Ancient Rage). It's made of two islands on opposite sides of a large body of water, connected by twisting bridges.

The problem is, I can't seem to email Rary. Any I send bounce back saying that there is no such address (I've tried both rklesa@hotmail.com and @gmail.com). Is anyone willing to act as a middle man? I would email the map to you and you would forward it to Rary.

Heh, it took me a full minute of staring to differentiate the difference between those two spellings. Sometimes I miss a letter like that and can't see it even when it's practically pointed out to me like that, heh.

Well that'd probably be the reason then. I tried sending it to the correct address this time, and it didn't bounce instantly, so I think it worked. You should be able to check my map out now.

We do need more water maps and more nature maps.

Rary wrote:If you got maps to add to the arena. Post about them here.

Email me them, email is in profile.

There are few standards to go by:

1. Map must be original nwn. No expansions.
2. Map needs to have waypoints on where you want the graal and pris sword.
3. Map needs to have both team spawn in areas.
4. No sounds.
5. No scripts.
6. Try to limit or have no runoff tiles

I normally fix issues that I see, but if its too much, I'll send it back to you to fix it.

Thanks,
Rary
Hmmm... I have some maps which I inteded to use on my NWN 1 Arena module. They might be fun.

But you say no scripts, no sounds, etc.

What size and other restrictions do apply?

Are you searching for something special?

No size restriction. Might be boring if too big if you know what I mean. Nothing special, you should know what each arena has so just make sure each team spawn area is on it and mark where you want stuff.

CONGRAT'S TO DRUNKEN ! He is the first person to send me a map that didn't require fixing. (Other than it was missing a portal out)
Waypoints were perfectly marked, team spawn areas were perfectly correct and so on.

Thanks.

I'll mop up some of my old PvP maps and send them to you. I think I have some interesting maps varying from the ones which exist on the server.

Then, you can see if you think they are good enough and perhaps add them. 8)

75% of the maps now are 8 by 8. The bigger the map, slower the load and vice versa.

Could we get Laelith sewers to be condensed down like Neversun forest was? I'd vote for it more if it wasn't so big.
