Dragons

What do you think the dragons should get to help defend themselves from archers?

They should probably get something a bit more fair than 75% conceal.

Maybe some high DC stunning spells.

They would use those spells on melee folks as well. The higher dragons aren't much of a problem with it. They do cast spells. Its more of the lower levels.

Make running speed slower for PCs?

Conceal is good if it is only for the dragons that spawn for level 7-11 and maybe the higher level ones get 50% conceal instead of 75% or vice versa.

Make the arena smaller so there is less places for it to run to.

Instead of 1 dragon make 2 easier dragons so it can get cornered from 2 sides.

The dragons aren"t that smart to corner them. :)

I could increase their walking speed, yes.

i still like the idea of a skeleton archer because 75% cenceal to me sounds unfair i dont mind giving the dragons haste they might be good

Well, people are complaining of the dragons being too strong right now, so adding haste to them will certainly make them tougher. Maybe I'll make them have haste walk speed only then.

ok its a dragon isnt that ment to be the problem that they are too strong then it makes it a challenge but when a runner comes on give them haste

How do tell the dragon, "If a runner, haste yourself." in script form? :)

If target is more than 10m away (for more than a round), most likely a runner, mage, archer, ect.
For such a lonely soul, you're having such a nice time.

Thats anyone that enters will be more than that for a round or so. That would add a nasty script. I'll make them haste run speed, then only archers that shoot out their butt have a chance. I wish I can give dragons throwing axes.

Uhm...here's a nasty idea. All players entering the dungeon and have any type of ranged weapon in their inventory, upon entering the dungeon, change their ranged weapon into a random melee weapon which they are proficient to?
Of course you can get a refund for the bow and still get the melee, and when leaving the dungeon you lose the melee.
Proudly messing things up since 1991.

Well the 75% conceal to range fixed that issue, but it is unfair to archers. But the run and shoot on something that is slower than you is unfair as well.

indeed, mages and archers tend to do that, and if it is an archer and is solo in the dungeon it takes ages for either the player or drag to die. Really annoying
