So you're basically saying that you run by all the 8 AB trolls using your tumble to loot and run away?
30 tumble is impressive regardless. I never get more than like... 10.
I don't treasure horde, I kill what i spawn, i only run if im low on pots and close to death so i hit a transition, hide and walk back to arabel. The tumble is mainly for just AC and the part where i run to safety.
And another common misconception. I have this obsession with buying gear that i don't necessarily need, but would be of use. Therefore all of my characters are poor. Felix doesn't even have 4k, but its gone into some AC, tumble, and Dex gear, which are all useful. I got lucky and found my +2 bow up near the broken jaw caves.
Tumble gear is useless if you have high base tumble. It won't add to your AC.
You're level 7, which means if you put a point in tumble every level you'll have 10 base tumble, which is 2 AC. Doesn't matter if you get 20 more from dex bonus and equipment, you won't get 4 more AC.
Wow i'm slow. I never really bothered calculating it out. +5 armor +2 ammy +1 ring +6 Dex Mod + 2 Tumble=20.....where does his other 2 AC come from then?
Ah man I think I might actually look this place up again. It was fun...until I got so bored because leveling past 8-9 was painfully slow.
Best tank move ever though = Wizard + Buffed Dire Spider. That thing can run through SOOO much stuff. It takes down like...6-8 trolls at once easily without a single spell from me.
I think I'm gonna roll a new char, dont know the class and stuff, but the name s'gonna be Valkan Tormentine........anything with Tormentine or Bei'Fung is me.
*nod nod* But don't make a buncha chars with the same last name. Just dont. It would just be awkward and you'll constantly get the "Are you related to so-and-so" Line when you introduce yourself. But there are a few players that make families. SO theres like 5 people playing with the same last name.
But an alternative would be like: Tormentine, Terpentine, Tormenss, etc, anything with torm, just different endings, but people will know who ou are by your account on diff chars, and if you put your chars in your sig on the CD forums.
Felix does as much damage with his bow as his daggers and has way more AB. (no finnesse yet) So his flame arrows usually just do the work on the trolls. That or he drinks some carrot juice, upping his STr for daggers to save arrows.
Ya, that's sickening...and probably something you should talk to someone about.
Anyway, I'm thinking of rejoining this server. Not entirely sure yet if I will though. It seems rather, dead, comparatively to what it used to be. What times do you guys generally play? Oh and if I do play it'll be a caster class as I most certainly love the new spells avaliable.
