General's Weapon

I was thinking that it would be very cool if pure fighters could gain an entire set of "General's" gear. Decently powerful stuff which allows fighters to be tough but really more for the overall feel of it.

General's Weapon

Longsword +3
keen
1d6 Slashing Damage
1d6 Blunt Damage
1d6 Peircing Damage

Basically the same as the elemental one but with physical attacks, also has fewer so it's keened.

General's Helmet

+2 Str
+10 Concentration
+5 Taunt

Basically just comboing a few of the weaker helmets with the bulls one.

General's Sheild

Tower Sheild + 5
+5 Taunt

Same as the fighter/barb/ranger sheild but with a little something extra for those pure fighters



Nothing which is to powerful here I don't think. What do we say?

Fighters dun get taunt?

That longsword will be L21 I bet. Figure a way around that..

I had considered that ya. Perhaps 2d6 peircing and 1d6 blunt. I really don't know how weapon properties go for levels. I can't do much to fix it.

- Ya the diamond ammy blocks most of that damage, however if you got both the elemental longsword and the general one you could play with hotkeys to keep switching out quickly.

I was thinking Taunt because with a full suit of general's gear you gain +10 and then +6 or something from gloves isn't bad at all if you cross-class taunt. Might give fighters another way to effect the melee.

I think that would be pretty cool.

Would be awesome to have some little set ups for pure chars that just dont vut it for most things fighters being the worst pure class i think then maybe barbs or sumthin

Yep, that longsword requires 21 levels. I'll make a general's longsword with 1d6 on main melee and maybe a extra melee thing to bypass DR

I think it should just be a +5 longsword for pure fighters with general papers.

Whats useful to you isn't useful to others. You'd basically have to make one for every weapon.

Well, kama and sickle and light hammer and light flail and morning star and handaxe for one - are not useful for a pure fighter. All of those weapons base weapon abilities are not helpful when better weapons exist +11 feats are only toward . But do add for more weapons.

Called Shot
Cleave
Deflect Arrows
Disarm
Dodge
Expertise
Great Cleave
Improved Critical
Improved Knockdown
Improved Parry
Improved Power Attack
Improved Two-Weapon Fighting
Improved Unarmed Strike

Mobility
Point Blank Shot
Power Attack
Rapid Shot
Spring Attack
Stunning Fist
Two-Weapon Fighting
Weapon Finesse
Weapon Focus
Weapon Proficiency (exotic)
Weapon Specialization
Whirlwind Attack


Pick 11 feats just from there. Assuming you meet the qualifications. But yes, fighters can have many weapons they can wield fully proficient.

Shortsword, Longsword, Greatsword, Greataxe, Halbard, Heavy Flail, Mace, Hand-Axe, Katana, D. Waraxe.

Not scythe, scimitar or raiper.
