Scythes?
Okay, what the ghey? Where are the good scythes people? There are 2d6 +3 elemental greatswords and greatxes and 3 pages worth. We have a page and half of scythes, in which one is level 31 requirement.
C'mon... where muh scythes? Where's muh scccythes? * Tickles underneath chin of some random stray.... frightfully rabid dog. *

Re: Scythes?
Good question. Scythes and halberds need touched up. I forgot to work with them, they haven't been touched since you could gmw a +5 scythe.T3hRedMage wrote:Okay, what the ghey? The level 31 scythe was a tester weapon. So its going to be gone with I sweep through the shop.
But anyways. I'll get the polearms up to par soon.

Yea.. I agree make halberds x4 crit.
1d10 x3 slash/piercing
2d4 x4 slash/piercing
I'd go with the scythe.
Let's match up damage on 1-20 rolls
(Minimum damage rolled)
Scythe: Halberd:
1 2 1
2 2 1
3 2 1
4 2 1
5 2 1
6 2 1
7 2 1
8 2 1
9 2 1
10 2 1
11 2 1
12 2 1
13 2 1
14 2 1
15 2 1
16 2 1
17 2 1
18 8 3
19 8 3
20 8 3
+ ___ ___
58 26 minimum damage.
Max = 232 260 maximum damage.
So the scythe has a much higher minimum damage and moderately lower maximum damage.. but that doesn't mean that much since it's a 2d weapon, it's damage is much closer to it's mean. By graphing it out on a density curve you can see the mean of it's hit's are around 4. While the halberd is a static line with equal chance of hitting any point - high or low.
Throw WM into that mix with it's Ki damage.. sheesh.
Edit:Wow.. what lame use of cin>>ws..

For such a lonely soul, you're having such a nice time.
I displayed their total damage range. I had some whitespace formatting but this ghey forum ate it all.
MIN(26, 58 ) Halberd, Scythe.
MAX(232, 260 ) Scythe, Halberd.
Scythe is 2d weapon, so it hits it's mean 4 dmg more, while the halberd is equal chance to hit any of it's 1d10 numbers.
