Tactless mages.... I miss playing a wizard.
Definatley not ANOTHER immunity item. That's the last thing there needs to be in the inventory. 5 damage is too much. What's so great about being a level 15 cleric/ paladin? I say 3 magical DR on every type of armor aviable except padded and full plate is suitable. That'll keep some rogues, clerics, paladins, fighters, whatever away fromthe DR.
If most classes want to wear it, they will suffer natural penalties for it.. like less AC, or far less hide/ms. Give the breastplate/chainmail -25% to bludgeoning. So if barbarians depend on it, a mage can ice storm, or whack them with a flamed staff.

Well it get's pretty lame when a mage resorts to just spamming IGMS/ILMS against drow.
A few good mages (drunken) know how to take down a monk, but all the other high levels fight like a level 10. Spamming spells that will always do some damage.
It would be nice to limit casting of those types of spells to once per turn (missle storms horrids mantles)

Does that mean we can limit you from casting grease to 1 turn as well?A95 wrote:Well it get's pretty lame when a mage resorts to just spamming IGMS/ILMS against drow.

Those build for it, perhaps but those build for casting can't, they are either all int or all charisma(wiz or sorc) now if you gave immunity to those spells+the immunities that are already in and evasion (there is a evasion shortsword and you can simply dual wield it with a +5 waepon) they couldn't do anything.
