NPC's
Why are NPC wizards so retarded that they use you (the human player) as a target indicator for area damaging spells (i think thats what you call them) and the same to the enemy wizards using their own players as a target indicator
Barbs/fighters - Do they really need that much DR when they are most likely maxed out on AB and spam KD?

In all seriousness though did you move and have an AoE spell follow you or did it just happen to land on you while stationary?
Technically they can afford all the gear they have i checked it out, problem is the sheer amount of them. It seems like barbs have an 80% chance to spawn where as everything else migth have 20-30%.Barbs/fighters - Do they really need that much DR when they are most likely maxed out on AB and spam KD?
Maybe up how often the WM's, monks, bard's spawn and lower barbs a bit to add a little more diversity and most likely a funner experience then 3 barbs KD spamming you while you try to get that 7 pt monk over there.

Yes to both of those scenarios more then once by the wizard on my own team lol then you get the barbs on your own team battering them so you lose 2 points lol
what are the DR items they use then? because they have 2 DR items and depending on how much damage you do will depend on how much DR is used i've noticed.Technically they can afford all the gear they have i checked it out

I've had it happen while im in a group of enemies which makes sense since the casters target hostiles regardless of whether or not your near them but never while i was moving and had a friendly one follow me. The L7 barbs only ever have 1 type of DR and iirc its a belt I've noticed on more than one occasion that different barbs spawn with different DR or so it seemed but the L7 ones only ever had one type. The bards can be a pain but there not impossible like a 4 barb situation, Almost any build can handle the bards and monks that spawn even the L9 ones arent too tough. I would admit the wizards can be hard to handle when they first spawn cause they automatically throw up a fire shield and start spamming spells but a little fire DR and GV go a long way.lol i was playing today and there where 4 bards at one point then there were 4 wizards just tearing up the map.
Personally i find the hardest situation to handle is when you got like two L9 barbs a L7 and then an 11 drops in. Sure the 9 and 11 are good xp but some builds need to die and respawn fighting them 6-10 times just to whittle them down enough to get the points and even then some might get frustrated and leave in a situation like that. Just my thoughts on it.

All so i think we need to stop the meele characters from attacking the wizards on their own team as well don't get me wrong i've had an easy 9 points out of that situation a couple of times but it just doesnt have that human feel about it if you know what i mean.

as for the amulet on lvl 9 + i use the aries amulet which gives you the extra AB on a meele build till i can afford haste

Yeh i hate that too but i dont know if its really possible to fix this and allow them to keep there spells. Would either have to change up there spellbook or set up some sort of proximity casting in which case they'd prolly never cast half there spells cause the bots almost always aim for you first.i don't mind them doing it but not when your at near death that just seems stupid or casting that cloud on you when you've nearly defeated the enemy and then becoming blind and losing the fight.

For a barb that already has like 16-18 AB sometimes that extra +1 AB doesnt really put you over the edge the way -/5 DR does. I personally prefer ares amulets on any melee that can use them over anything also. But if switching it up to DR ammy's will allow me to either survive longer or kill more that's what im gonna do.as for the amulet on lvl 9 + i use the aries amulet which gives you the extra AB on a meele build till i can afford haste one
Only 2 items that give you permanent unhindered haste with no class specifications. Theres the boots of chivalry or w/e there called but there for pure fighters only and also the cursed belt which is -AC. other than that i know of the amultet and the Chainmail of Speed that can be used.on haste - Rary says that theres only 2 items in the game that can give you perm haste, i think i have found a third but i'm going to check that later today.
TRM's not a DM he's on the same spot on the command chain that I'm on and so far rary has been unresponsive for the most part.maybe something we can send up the command chain to rary or TRM and see if they can do something about it???
I get that kill stealing occured for sure and also the whole rage death and or someone killed the high lvl while you were in base buffing or trying to get back out there thats normal and yeh it happened tons even with human players and although frustrating you went back out there and tried again. The thing thats turning ppl away from the bots on the server whether we like it or not is the sheer amount of barbarian KD spam that goes on rofl. I would never ask to make it so easy anyone can lvl anything in a few hours to 15+ but more of the other types of spawns and less barbs to keep things mixed up will retain more players when they realize they no longer need to build a select few things to actually compete. yer why is it they always aim for the human player first even if they are fighting with someone who is on near death they will just start attacking you!

All the NPC's use the same items all players have available to them. All the NPC's use the same xp/gold ratio when it comes to items. In fact all I did was find a real player and clone them. There are DR whores & AB sluts when it comes to the Barbs. Certain classes will get certain spawned NPC's. Barbs have the best chance of spawning, but if you're a mage, then other mages and monks have a better chance.
