OK so i was thinking i know not a lot of players that play the server use the forums. But i was thinking for those of us who do maybe create a sticky for this section and when players are going to be on they could drop a line here?

Even in advance then we know if someone is going to be on later maybe?

I'll be on and off and on again most of tonight after the wife and baby go to bed so if anyones interested they may see me there.

during the week iim on most of the day until about 10/11pm GMT weekends it depends what im doing really this weekend i'll be busy i think but i'll try and come on if i can

I made one today, because it does seem like a strong melee class against the barbarian horde. I'm going to try 5 ranger, 5 pdk, 10 dwarven defender.

ranger for favoured againt half orcs? whats pdk?

The class itself isn't very good on it's own, but if you put two PDKs(purple dragon knights) together, you can endlessly spam that +4 AC buff on each other. I thought rangers got companion at level 5, but I think it's 6. I may go 6/ 4/ 10. PDK just gets a lot of free buffs for few levels. I'm just going for free AB/ Damage. So animal companion, favored enemy, rallying cry, inspire, defensive stance is all free +AB+Damage with no penalties.

ive just got a lvl 10 ranger at the min with 26AB and was wondering why i cant seem to go AA???

the companions dont work at least i dont think so anyways!

i may have to try that build of yours out but with some minor twitches

I really want to make a decent Druid/shifter can anyone give me any ideas?

I did a weird charisma druid/ shifter/ blackguard build that was pretty good. It gave me good saves, good damage with divine might, and good AB with BG being full BAB class. Plus I got things like taunt, sneak attack, and smite good for free, and it wasn't hard to put everything in charisma since you are only going to have 5-7 druid levels, and the only stats that transfer while shifting are INT/ WIS/CHA. So I probably went something like 12-10-10-12-14-17 or something, putting all points into charisma after that.

You have to use your animal companion feat outside of the base for it to work. You pick the right bonuses in base, then use it in the arena to get the bonuses.

What red said and yes they work i got a ranger started and the companions function properly. Also for caster/arcane classes with buffs check the pride shop for the new buffer item. pretty nice for quick buffs if your just playing solo vs bots.

You can't go AA if you aren't elf or half-elf.
