EFW Files

Does anybody know how EFW files work? I've downloaded a few things recently and EFW seems to be the new for mat being used rather than .zip or .rar files.

They're not a different type of file.

It's still a compressed zip file but it went through a virus scan that changes the extension. I think if you rename it "whatever".zip and then try opening it with WIN ZIP/RAR it'll work.

yeah i was stupid to not just google that. but it worked. and now i'm playing Shaiya again... >_<
