Shaiya: Light and Darkness
This game looks simply amazing. Closed beta launches in 3 days and upon signing up you can get a Closed Beta Key anywhere between Today and the 24th of December. Check it out, and try to stay updated. Would love to see some EW players to chill with on here.

I got chosen! I was like the second wave! I'm so happy! Raptor the Vail assassin will be here to get you head! and it still runs fine with my 224mb of RAM. Less laggy than a full CD too.
*Edit* Ok, now i have actually played the game, and its amazing, though the combat can get redundant fast, and you level up a bit quickly, even in Normal mode. But it still runs perfectly fine with no issues at all. Just two problems i see.
~As predicted, a lot of people signed up for the Union of Fury, and I'm seeing waaaay too many Assassins and Pagans. I think i say a few Oracles and maybe ten Nordein (death eaters) in general.
~Also, lack of partying. I'm seeing hordes of solo players, and no parties, but i suppose that's because Beta just started so people havn't started Dungeon-going yet, so it should sprout up more. And the enemies are a tad weak as well
But yes, i died within my first 5 minutes of playing, only because i hadn't become acquainted with the controls ( I hate reading tutorials and manuals) But i figured it out and got to level 5 (about 2/3 of the way to 6) In maybe 30-40 minutes. Not bad. But i have a feeling the level curve is a steep one.

Isiana, since you were previously signed up on Aeria Games.....You can now play in the Shaiya CB> Announced last night, all Aeria Games members are allowed to play in the Shaiya CB.....but doesn't it kinda defeat the purpose of it being a "Closed" Beta?
*Edit* Well, Anyone who signs up can play too, so i made a second account. In case anyone besides Isiana gets Interested....

Isiana, this beats Dragon Fable and Adventure Quest in just about every category....
But Just to keep you guys updated..... The Closed Beta will end Dec. 9th. The Open Beta should start up sometime soon after, around the 23rd of Dec. or so.
But you know what's really kickass? My Archer critting 212 at lv 6. She's 11 now and the only thing clsoe was a 182. Of course when you have piercing debuffs for your enemy, and buffs for yourself, it's not that hard. But i just have to say my Archer is way more fun than my thief. I don't dodge everything thrown at me and i actually have to strategize and time my manual dodges somewhat.
Though there isn't exactly a storyline, this is a Quest Based RPG. The quests are the little yellow dots on your map and when you talk to the person. select "Talk" Instead of Ok, or Trade, or whatever. So if you want you can kill monsters over and over again for XP, getting gold really slow, but try the quests. Though most of them are boring, it gets you gold.
Also, in case you didn't catch it, this is Realm vs Realm (RvR). Go to the Capital city of your region (Gliter (Union), Koellesou (Alliance) and enter one of the portals reading "------ Lv 1-X) These lead to borderlands where you will not only find some challenging creatures, But also HORDES UPON HORDES of the enemy Faction. The battles are intense and if you want kills, your party (if you don't have one, find one) needs to work together and focus on a single target. You should try to have an Ranger, Mage, Cleric, and two warriors or so for best effects. And more clerics is never a bad idea. Powerful buffs and healing spells never hurt.
