History of EW!!!

Post by AntiChristMofo »

hey i went onto the main page for EW today and was reading the history of it which read:-

Eternal War was originally created by Peaced and company. Inspired by Bation of War, Eternal War became a hit for those that didn't have HotU. Soon EW went offline and no one could get a reasonable arena server up.

In November 2004, we got a copy of EW renaming it to the current Eternal War (Armageddon). From there we setup a dedicated server slot for it with the already Dragon's Keep PW action server. For 2 months, I fixed up the module to prevent lag, server tie-ups, and spelling mistakes. The original EW was laggy do to some repetitive scripting and using heartbeat scripts. I removed all heartbeat scripts and fixed up most other scripts. Since it seemed Peaced was from another country I fixed some spelling mistakes all through out the module.

Once the module was complete, I put the module up to the public on February 1st, 2005 with 1 DM. Then I asked Bigby to help me from Dragon's Keep, so he joined doing mostly the items and maps. Then in Julyish, Red Mage, joined as the 3rd DM. Ever since I've been trying to make it a balanced system.

so thats telling me that there was a server on NWN exactly like this one and the EW today is based of the old one? because i swear i have played in EW longer then 3 years because i left school when i was 15 and i was playing on the server longer then that

its just bin playing on my mind for ages that everyone bin saying o the server is 2years old and im there saying its older then that isnt it.....so it could be the old server that i use to play on aswell then i went of NWN for awhile because of the army and when i came back onto NWN and the I.P for the old server wouldnt work then i came across the EW server and just thought you must have changed the I.P address but didnt think nothing of it at the time

know i think i have found the reason why and just wanted to make sure that i have got this right lol

By any chance is this Shadow? Not klesla's, grimwarriors? Because if you aren't him, I don't think I have ever heard of you funnily enough.

are you kidding me? i would SOOO use the flipping Undead Lord with that scythe....ohhhhh.

andbesides you cant get dev crit at lvl 21. you need overwhelming crit and epic weapon focus. which are both epic feats.

EDIT:

Nah...Muzekaze is right, you'd need 3 epic feats-not possible. And it requires 25 str. which is only possible with half-orc or RDD. Tough luck.

Ugh, I edited it before and it was horrible grammar.
