Nintendo blows away E3!

Nintendo has announced the release dates of some of the most anticipated Wii games. Super Smash Bros. Brawl will be coming December 3rd (FINALLY!). Metroid Prime 3: Corruption will be coming august 20th, Super Mario Galaxy will be coming August 27th, Resident Evil: Umbrella Corp. Chronicles will be coming, Mario Kart Wii will be coming in the first quarter of next year with online. Also two new revolutionary controller options will be released: The Wii Zapper, which puts the Wiimote and Nunchuck together in an interesting way, and the Wii Wheel, which makes driving games easier. A Revolutionary new game called Wii Fit features a balance board that can measure your weight and how you are balancing for both entertainment games, and yoga and aerobic workouts. (it is believed that this will also be used for DDR on the wii, or something similar). Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock will also be released for the Wii, along with Dragon Quest: Swords and Soul Caliber: Legends, which are both Wii exclusive titles.

The Nintendo DS is even more a buzz. LoZ: Phantom Hourglass, the sequel to LoZ: Windwaker will be premiering on the DS with touch screen oriented controls. Square Enix is releasing Dragon Quest: Joker which combines a in depth Square Enix game, with the ability to catch and train monsters in a turn based battle system. Spore, the game where you create your own alien race and evolve has also been announced for the DS, along With Final Fantasy Chrystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates, and Final Fantasy XII.

Microsoft also did a good job at E3, but lets not talk about them...

I'd pilot an Eva. Just call me Shinje. I totally connected with him anyway... laying in the hospital all the time, staring at the ceiling... being trapped inside some dark malevolent force. Yeah, that's got my name written all over it.

Actually they all ruled at their time, when the Xbox came out everyone was like: Omg! It rox!. Then for example the PS2 came out, they found it better and it ruled. Just wait till something better than the Wii comes out.

I never liked xbox, nor ps2. There wasn't any game good on either of those platforms that wasn't released on gamecube. Halo just sucked, and FF's on ps2 were all bad.

Gamecube had the ever popular and fun mario franchise and smashbro's. With the new smashbro's set for December of this year (or is it November?) Wii will rule supreme.

I'm more hyped about Sadness for the Wii. It has the best overall graphics I've seen for any system, not to mention an original and great story line.

The Final Fantasies for the Ps2 were bad.., but the ones for the PSX were <3.

X-box never grabbed me by the balls, because it's mostly shooters. When you like War World 2 games, the x-box is definately the choice, however, when you want some RPG's, Playstation will always be the best choice. Nintendo, however, will always be settled around younger audiences.

Some nice games to look out for on the 360 is Blue Dragon, Rock band, Timeshift and Bioshock

Ps3- Metal Gear Solid 4 ( Debate over if it's going to PS3 or 360, or both. )

I will always say that games are best on the PC (eexcept the Wii ones). I find it more comfortable and you have sorta total control, and you can play comfortably online too. The online versions of th eother platforms is weird.

Uhh no? I've never seen my parents play a video game in their life. I brought a Wii home, and BAM they were playing it. Wii is for everyone. It will own. Wii sports <3. Wii life <3.

But it is ' you ' who bought it. The majority of the buyers of the wii were parents because their kids were all ' Zomg, handz move lolol. ' I worked at a gaming store when the wii came out and still do. The biggest question we get from anyone 15 and under is ' Ya'll got anymore wii games? ' Compare DS games to PSP games, then Gamecube to PS2 and X-box. You'll find that the majority of it's games are for younger audiences.

Things like Mario Party, Mario... and the fact that Nintendo houses the most Nickolodeon games and rated E games, means that it's centraled around younger audiences.

But because it's so wiivolutionary, adults are having fun with it's simple pick up and play style. Even so, I've only found this to be true with wii sports and rarely with Wario Ware. My parents played Wii Sports for... five hours a day, but now they are bored with it and won't even try Mario Party 8 with me.

Fact still remains, I had a 60 year old man playing a video game. You can say what you want, but I see adults playing it. Never has a video console been able to market to that age group. Xbox couldn't, their majority was under 30. PS2 games were all on GCB and xbox. And for RPGs, I thought FF Chronicles was way more fun then the FF's on ps2.. it was just expensive.

Wii economics will beat out it's competitors I believe as well. As it is cheaper to produce and makes a larger profit. Ps3 will only make profits off their 80$ games (numerous press releases about how expensive ps3 is to produce). Xbox 360 is still just an fps console, with it's other games all on multiple platforms.

What are we arguing anyway? That wii isn't a good system? Balderdash! That wii won't do well as a console? Puffnuggets! That wii isn't fun? Nary.

hell yes. but NGE really is the most f***ed up show on the planet, but it rocked!

yes the Wii is Revolutionary, which is why it was code named "the Revolution". its outselling PS3 4:1 and 360 2:1 and has been sold out across the world since launch.

but what's even more sad, is that the DS and DS Lite are outselling the 360, Ps3, and PSP. it might even beat the Wii in some categories.

yeah, brawl is coming to Wii december 3rd. Just you wait casas, hook up the WiFi and i will OWN YOU! I'm a beast at smash bros. im just out of practice because i havnt played it in so long. I CAN'T WAIT FOR IT! *munches on fingernails*

I mean, but if i had the money, id prolly get 360 too, just for games like assassin's creed, Halo 3, Devil May Cry 4, and a bunch of other games....awahhahaha

but i still love my Wii, even though i bought it the week before christmas, i was pissed that i didnt wait because all the games i wanted aren't coming out till NOW.

I mean, LoZ: TP, Sonic and the Secret Rings, Brawl, MP 3: Corruption, Super Paper Mario, Wii Play, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, and soooooo many other good Wii games....but Red Steel sucked. A waste of $50. Now make a star wars lightsaber game, and THAT will sell...NOT...

what if we went back in time with a Wii and gave it to nintendo after the NES came out? we'd prolly be INSIDE the video games by now. my friends said give to to Sega instead because they want Sonic to live forever...Sonic freaks....

bottom line, Wii forever.

but there is debate about whether nintendo is trying to appeal more to the casual or hardcore gamers.

but i still think an MMORPG should be made for the DS. Like a NWN DS or something. or create a character and run around this vast world with a million other people doing quests and slaughtering creatures and poop. id never take my hands off of it. and it would be that hard to modfiy form the original WiFi network where you search for players, just have everyone to connect to a single server.

PSU DS....i'd get that too...
