Cold Fusion

If you just discovered cold fusion, what would you do? Who would you tell?

Ok if I understood the article correctly, cold fusion is a power source.
Well what you do with it depends on the type of person you are.
Personally, I would start my own company that makes electricity from this cold fusion. Then countries will rush to buy some from me due to electricity probs world-wide (lack of oil and stuff).
And bingo richest bastard on the planet

Most likely would die before your power plant came up because you will put all the Oil companies, power companies, and any other energy companies out of business. Not to mention you'll make terrorists go bankrupt.

Hm.........good point.
Well I could always make a deal with the governemtn for security in return for montly payment. Or make a deal with the oil companies and terrorists themselves. But I could always choose to open the company when there is no oil around and these companies and terrorists become bankrupt (not by my hand)

I'd make it free information and spread it as quickly as possible. That way I could save my own life (killing me wouldn't matter since everyone now knows how to duplicate it), and benefit mankind while sticking it to the greedy son's of b!tches like oil.

Correct, the best way in this case is to post it on the internet for free and to everyone. Then get your butt into a business of making power boxes to sell to homes.

and with my newfound power i would make Casas dance around in a tutu on world television.

Even though i own the world, i would be able to supply it with cheap energy and i would be loved by everyone! Except Casas of course.

I'd do what Torm would do. Who cares if I collapse economies accross the world? The insensitive deep-seated robber barons had it coming.

Agreed, and in businesses the strongest survive, one business doesnt care about the other, especially if they want to make a lot of profit.
