Hello World!

I once made a list of all the predictable assets of an average anime on another forum. It went kinda like this...
When it features:
-"This is unlike any <xxx> I/we have ever seen before!"
-Shape-shifting/mutant antagonists ("NOW SEE MY TRUE FORM" is incredibly cliche)
-Protagonists that lack intelligence and/or common sense
-Protagonists that have an ability other people don't have
-Incredibly powerful beings that get referred to/featured on an episodely basis
-Antagonists that command inept lackeys (For example, a general may have completely incompetent troops, meaning the protagonists win in EVERY encounter. And this is the guy that took over what the protagonists want back...)
-Overly-dramatic people that are overly dramatic all the time
-Protagonists with impossible hairstyles (I'm glaring at you, Vegeta, no matter how high you think Goku's power level is.)
-Someone getting Mind Control'd/Hypnotized (Impossible, as hypnotism involves putting someone into a suggestible state, not completely controlling him/her)/Brainwashed in any way or form on a particular episode
If more than 3 of these apply, you're watching an average-rate anime. Two animes may look different from each other, but when you think about it, most are completely the same. Why, one could be watching Yu-Gi-Oh and not realize they're watching Pokemon in a different fashion.
...
Not that I'd watch either.
But, if there's any animes I like, they would be Transformers (any series) and Robotech. Even though I haven't seen any episode of the latter, I've played games and mods and heard musical scores for it...and I approve.
