A few native minorities have been complaining about exploitation. Normally, I would remind them of the obvious fact that the Illithid Empire is evil, but ME? Exploit?! Why, I'd NEVER!

Galactic Civilizations II: Dark Avatar. It gives you greater freedom with creating custom races than Dread Lords and even lets you create your own opponents. I designed the Ur-Quan Kohr-Ah from Star Control II/III, the Forerunners from Halo, the Goromah who use the K'tang portrait from Star Control III, and the Druhn/Insecta Sententia whom god knows where those portraits came from.

I played Galactic Civilizations II some. Doesn't it not let you control combat though? That was kind of a downer to me. I wound up playing... I guess Star Control more? I liked being able to customize ships better, control them in combat. And the ship building was tons of fun... kind of reminded me of Lightspeed. I bet none of you bitches are old enough to remember that one.

Eh. I guess there wasn't much to control in GalCiv II combat. Really it was just GalCiv I combat, only it looks cooler.

The Thalans are kickass, too.
