What the heck does that mean? or Should I say how did this error happen?

Loggically just doesn't make sense.

He doesn't have Hordes of the Underdark expansion.. and he had hordes feats/spells perhaps?

That's what I was thinking but not sure how he did that or what class he is.

Easiest would be a mage, and had a friend level him up once for spells.
