Figured I'll start this. Someone brought about charm being lame. It does same as daze or stun.

So any suggestions that make sense is good.

Uhm....well charm means making somebody like you...soo.....maybe the charmed ppls go near the PC who charmed them and protect him? Or heal him? You know, buff him.

ok if you charm somone you make them like you

and no one wants to kill people they like

so make it that if you can charm somone they cant kill you until spell wears of or you die

Drunk was testing Mass Charm out quite a bit. Some of the results I noticed were.. that it only worked on his team mates or himself, and it turned them into NPCs practically. Drunk was controlled by the default nwn casting scripts, and would cast spells randomly at hostile targets.

Rather interesting, if only could be utilized more.

If thats the case then yes. That sounds more like dominate though.

dominate makes you able to 'control' your target. but if you could change carmto only affect hostile targets, then that would help, and they would only attack players who are hostile to the caster. would also help if your teamates were freindly. i mean sure, if you miss with your gun and hit your buddy, its gonna hurt, and it makes it more realistic. but eventualy ppl get pissed at noobs spamming AOEs on their teams.

but the charm things seems like a good idear
