Dominate Person
Lovely spell, isn't it?
Well I'm testing a new script for it as we speak, need to test it on someone. What happens is, if a player fails the save, they get dominated, become the masters henchmen and the master can have the dominated player protect them, killing his own teammates.

If you understand scripting or whatnot, basically I'll have the real PC in cutscrene mode. I DM invis real PC. I make a copy of their character, (basically is now an NPC). The PC copy will become casters henchmen.
When duration is done. Copy PC gets destroyed. Real PC gets what HP's left the copy has. Then real PC gets uninvis'd and cutscrene gets removed.
When players are in cutscrene they can't control the game basically.

Dominate person is a higher level spell. Confusion attacks whoever is near and sometime just doesn't attack.

Yes, but both will work. One just has a higher DC. Their durations, well all durations of ANY coup de grace, as I always preach, should be no longer than 1 turn.
However, since this one has a different application. Shall we assume that as the d-PC scores kills, he can obtain XP for the points he gets for the other team? If that's the case, then.. hell, keep it's duration.

For such a lonely soul, you're having such a nice time.

The caster gets a copy of the dominated PC. This copy acts as though its an NPC henchman. Just that, he will be treated as a henchman, similar to companions on there. If you kill the henchman, you get no xp/gold. If you kill the caster, he gets destroyed and real PC gets restored back to normal. If the henchman kills you, caster gets credit.
Real PC does not get credit and that is due because the copy and real PC aren't tied to each other anymore, makes the script much harder to make that possible.
As always the copy PC (henchman) in this case is very stupid compared to players, well some players . The caster can't make it fight any smarter.
As always, I'm testing the spell, if it doesn't work, then I'm scraping it.
