wow, i was right for once. and take into account that most sneaks use haste, so bring the MS down to 53. But the main point i was trying to make is that hide can get 20, or 30 points higher than MS. if they were evened out mroe, then spotting classes actually have a chance. right now the only way to find anything is with listen, unless your pure ranger. and pure ranger vs pure ranger would be an interesting fight, but just plain whack. also with sp/ls redon, this can be re-balanced.

im jsut suprised i got all that math right

Well, you're number are a bit off. Nonetheless, my ranger has 83 spot. And only a ranger could have that kinda hide.. rogues would have about 60?

Saying you have x amount of points, doesn't mean you have x amount of points.

rary didnt you say i quote

''All sneaks should have a slight chance of being found by every class.''

and they do but if a meele doesnt take spot or listen thats not everyone else's fualt my dark king has taken pionts in spot and listen and hes a pure meele and a changing to a few items yer is decreases AC but not by much he can spot/listen most sneaks infact at lvl 20 some sneaks in my range didnt even dare attack my char because they knew i would rape them and my char isnt even an anti sneak char

infact im going to make an anti sneak char and see what happens :D

Yes I did say that. But if someone doesn't take spot or listen, then they won't find the sneak.

Right there is entirely too many items give those skill boosts. There are enough items that my barb could hide and sneak from most lvl 10's.

I don't think the skills are skewed.. we spent quite a bit of time fixing them.. But that was before the godly rogue shields.. those are tough.

I think rogues should be able to kill off a few classes, w/o trouble.

I do like paper-rock-scissors balance.. especially in D&D.

How about make it impossible to find sneaks if you don't take any spot or listen or have low wisdom.

Right now any melee that took no spot or listen has a decent chance of finding some sneakers. That is completely wrong.

the hgihest spot/listen you can possibly get w/o takin any ranks is:

spot-+10 helm, +10 ammy, +10 true seeing, +3 rings x2. thats only 36. which is still rpetty high.

You can get more with weapons and other stuff which is unfair.
