Disease Arrows

Post by isiana »

Red Slaad egg arrows are bit too powerful for only 6k. either remove them from the random disease list or up the cost.

No one uses disease arrows because the chance of that one happening is like 10%, and all the other ones suck. If there maybe was a pack of just red slaad disease ones for 12k or somewhat than maybe.

I'm not sure if the slaad comes out because it needs an hour to incubate. The chance isn't very low a95 I just use the infinite arrows until I get 99 devil slaad ones.

What do these arrows do? I've never seen them in action.

DC 17 is still pretty low, if it was DC 24 or higher than yes it is overpowered.

With the cursed belt more leveld 9-11s fail then you'd think. I killed someone with the ability damage
Gnarr- I posted a nwn wiki link saying what it does.

Disease arrows have some random DC effects, I've had one as high as 30 and as low as 14.
For such a lonely soul, you're having such a nice time.

No. Any Non-Player that isn't a dragon gets destroyed before it appears so you won't see it even if it did spawn because of those. Its why your summons don't appear.

Disease Bolts = DC 14
Disease Arrows = DC 14
Disease Bullets = DC 16

If their are other DC's then they aren't using the random ones.

So to answer your question. Does a person deserve to lose 2d6 dex if they fail a 14 save. Yes they do.

those are not the DCs of the arrows. i made a dude to use the arrows and it only says that on the arrows but the save they have to make is different dc.

Thats odd then. Maybe some feat or skills is changing it, but I didn't think that happens on item DC's.
