Reduction

Need a reduction in discipline items.. my pure cleric can get 50+ discipline. Needs to be lowered at least 10~15.

Items that give disc:
Rings +10
Belt +10
Cloak +9
Bracers Ultima +1
Power Shield +5
Paladin Armor (+6 but paladin restricted)
STR +mod

Before STR and base skill that's 45.. way to high considering disc checks are AB vs target disc + d20.

but why would you want disc?

maybe if you make a char to knockdown your enemy every time or somthing like that

Discipline resists knockdown, called shot, disarm, ect. There's too much discipline, classes w/o any natural class skills can have ample amount to resist all the above.

Discipline is only one that blocks those Anti.

Well, natural 20. Anyway, you see my point on how my pure cleric could resist pure AB paladin w/no disc ranks.

Perhaps have the rings reduced to +8 each, the cloak down to +6, and the belt reduced to 8, the shields are kinda worthless, except when clerics use them.. since they have enhancement spells. Class restriction?

Why not just toss the rings out or class restrict them?

Because discipline is 45 in equip, the maximum AB for one minute is paladin at 45.. thus AB cancels out the discipline from equip, leaving discipline ranks +d20 vs the AB roll.. discipline ranks goto 23~36 + d20 vs d20.. impossible to ever win.

Thus why I suggested a reduction for everyone.

Ok, toss out rings for everyone then. That should shorten by atleast 10.

20, you can wear two rings.. I suggested a reduction of about 10~15 total.. I think reducing the amount of the higher end items would be best. Knockin' out 20 is sorta hurtful.

Ya they will be lowered.
