Top 11 Things to Help Improve Your Game
Well, that's all ya had to say...I mean, my point is, there's no such thing as a whole team of mages. There's always a melee or five. And I don't like being cast on while I'm fighting a melee nor do I like being beat down by a melee while I'm fighting a caster. If there's melees AND casters on a team, there's little way around them, save a rogue, and even then, there's no guarantee of success.

All this talk is pretty meaningless considering the only team of players that will unite is rogues.
The rest depends on the skill of the player and if the team actually decides to discuss how to beat the other team, instead of just working in silence and un-order.
I have to say a caster is the fastest class to level to 20 on the server. Wizard/ Sorc.

I have wound up both on the team of 3 mages or fighting against 3 mages before. When I am playing a caster on the mage team I usually get trounced by anyone who knows anything about what they're doing, and when I'm fighting against three mages I usually p00n them with... well, with whatever I'm playing with. It's easy to buy gear for only mages.
I have to say that casters (wizards and sorcs) are easy for most people to level up here. But if you want to get down to it, my ranger (Rebel) levelled up faster than any of my casters. I would like to thank the constant stream of rogue-types that felt like they could beat her for that one.
I wouldn't mind seeing this game have shorter rounds (like fifteen minutes, but with the same end of round bonuses) and some type of team balancing script. Divide classes into three types (melee, caster, sneak), and try to assign some of each one within certain ranges to each team.

I like the idea of shorter rounds. We'll soon have more PU's and hopefully more active ones to help with team balancing.LittleLostThief wrote:

Even she has troubles with a melee and mage. There are just never 2 20's on the game against her.Musekaze wrote:There's a flaw. Only one person can fight a mage and a melee at the same time......Kerrie. To my knowledge she just carries everything she needs around with her so she never has to waste time selling/buying stuff.
But in any event, the problem is when I DM and look at people's equipment who complain alot, I always have to tell them, get new gear, the gear you have now sucks.

Well people nowadays rather basecamp you into boredom then fight you ;F 3 Mages Alone can be farmed it is true * recalls beating 3 OP mages, together with Casas, and a Cleric ) However, Such teamss are rare, it is almost always a little tricky like spanning your gear between multiple char types, but hey, no challenge no fun.On a Side note, dumping your AC badly against a mage isn't good either *looks at those freaking over 40 dc bigbys vs ac*
