Monk +5 gloves?
+5 attack bonus only gloves for monks?
Purpose to have them better against mages.

Monks are already extremely dangerous to casters because of their speed and stealth.
Granting them an ability to push through all defences would simply be too much I think.
Pure fighters should get +5 weapons to bring back the classic fighter characters. Monks are dangerous enough as they are by far. Even a Monk noob like me could create a anti-caster monster from the Nine Hells.

I agree with Gnarr in both of his posts. The level requirment on the gloves would be 16 or so. If you multiclass, that takes 1 away from the monk level requirment, so you'd need 17 monk to use them. A multiclassed monk with 3 other levels in something else... won't have an upper hand against mages than a pure monk.
I haven't seen a high level mage lose to a monk in a long time. If they do.. it's after dying twice and only killing them by d8 magical damage a hit.

It's not more stacking for the monk, it's all the chips for the monk. My STR monk doesn't wear haste against mages, he buys elemental amulet (their shields now void), and just spams stun fist or kd (if they are kd immune they will fail stun fist wearing cursed haste). With the help of a+5 fist, he will drop a mage so utterly quick, it's laughable.
To note, the SR is not useless, it isn't as effective as cleric or druid SR, but it is not useless.

For such a lonely soul, you're having such a nice time.
